With these insulated wire end ferrules, you ensure a safe and professional connection. When you strip the copper wires of a flexible cord (such as an iron cord), the thin strands easily fray. This ferrule keeps the copper core perfectly together, protects against damage when tightening screws, and prevents dangerous short circuits.
Thanks to the grey plastic collar (color-coded for 0.75 mm²), the ferrule is easy to apply and provides extra strain relief (kink protection) for the cord.

Difference compared to uninsulated ferrules
An insulated ferrule features an extra layer of insulating material (usually a colored piece of plastic) around the metal tube. This insulation not only protects the wire itself but also prevents short circuits and increases safety in electrical installations.
Insulated ferrules are often used in environments where additional electrical protection is required, such as in open spaces or where cables run close to other electrical components.
Installation tip: Strip the wire, slide the ferrule over the copper strands, and crimp it firmly with a ferrule crimping tool for an optimal and reliable connection.
