Adding a strain relief grip ensures that the weight of the lamp is distributed safely over the entire cord and not only on the copper wires. This strain relief ensures a properly secured ceiling cable. This cap adds the finishing touch to the ceiling rose or lamp holder, ensuring a properly secured cable.
This conical cable release is used on top of a fitting (in combination with a threaded rod), but can also be used in a ceiling cap, for example. When used in a ceiling cap, you will need another nut to secure the cable release (incl. threaded rod).
