With this voltage detector you can measure whether there is voltage on a socket or wire. A light is built into the small screwdriver. Place your thumb on the metal cap of the voltage detector and the voltage detector in one of the poles of the outlet or the tip of the copper of the wire. When voltage is applied to the tested point, the light in the screwdriver will illuminate.
